Perfecting the Minister, the Message, the Marketplace, the Ministries!!
At a very young age, God called and empowered Dr. Frederick T. Nah Jr. to the work of the ministry in his hometown of Brewerville, Liberia in West Africa. When he was 16, Dr. Nah served as a lay reader at Brunsphels United Methodist Church, and at age 17, he was recommended to be licensed as a lay speaker at the United Methodist Church Annual Conference. However, it was on March 31, 1981 that God elevated Dr. Nah to be ordained and installed as Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church in Arthington, Liberia. He was only 19 years old.
In October 1988, God transplanted Dr. Nah to Bridgeport, CT where he continued in ministry as Assistant Minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. It is there that he met and married his lovely wife of 34 years Overseer Karen Nah. In obedience to God, the family then moved to Georgia in 1990, and in 1991, Dr. Nah was elected to serve as Pastor of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. Five years later, God birthed World Fellowship Christian Center, which is now Divinity Church International, and World Reach Ministries in February 1996. In 2009, Dr. Nah started Five Star Ministerial World Alliance, where he is imparting into the lives of ministers across the globe to perfect their five-fold ministry gifts.
Over the years, Dr. Nah has been recognized for his outstanding work in the community and abroad as well as for his contributions in advancing the Kingdom of God. He was honored by Georgia Secretary of State, Cynthia Cox, as a Goodwill Ambassador for the State of Georgia in 2002. He was also the recipient of the Gospel Choice Award that same year for faithful and dedicated services to the church and Spanish Community. In 2007, Dr. Nah was the recipient of the Ricks Institute Alumni Association, USA, INC., GA Chapter award for Religious Education Leadership. In 2016, Dr. Nah received the 2016 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama.
Dr. Nah is a renowned speaker and teacher whose theological studies include attending the Liberian Baptist Theological Seminary School of Extension under Dr. Mark Carpenter as well as Carver Bible College in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Nah received his Doctorate of Divinity from Omega Bible College in Swartz, LA in 2008. In 2010, he was consecrated as Bishop by Archbishop Ruth W. Smith of Light of the World Interdenominational International Association, and in 2013, Bishop Nah was appointed Second Presiding Bishop of the same organization. Most recently, Reverend M. Emmanuel Nimely, Religious Advisor to the President of the Republic of Liberia, appointed Bishop Nah as the International Coordinator for the Liberian Spiritual Cleansing and Peace and Reconciliation Summit in December 2021. This historic and monumental event led to the nomination of Bishop Nah’s elevation to the office of Archbishop in which he humbly accepted, and on June 5, 2022, he was elevated to the same.
Archbishop Nah’s passion for domestic and international evangelism and outreach is evidenced by his many years of service as well as his various accolades and accomplishments. However, in spite of these achievements, this mighty man of God continues to remain a humble servant of Christ who continues “to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Archbishop Nah currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his beautiful wife and four children, Tanneh Nah, Frederick T. Nah IV, Anthony Nah, and Faith Nah.
